MiceChat Spring Gumball Rally - May 30th - Info and Save the Date

Is their an age requirement? Would I be able to participate wiht my future Mcer's? They are 11, 8, 5.

We have had an age requirement in the past, but this year we will allow anyone to participate so long as one adult 18 or older is on the team. Each individual counts as a member of the team, even if they are too young to be of much help. This should make it much easier for families to compete this year.

The Gumball Rally is a really long event and can be exhausting, if you think your little ones are up to the task, by all means, enter them!!! They'll probably have a blast!

One bit of advice. your 5 and 8 year olds may not be able to ride all of the attractions. You might want to have a second adult on your team who can stay at the exit of the ride with the kids while you complete the task of riding those attractions. That way you won't need to skip attractions and lose points. The rules state that the entire team must be AT the attraction at the same time, but only one member actually needs to ride if for any reason the others are not able (height, medical, fear, etc.)

I think you'll really enjoy the event.

As long as someone on your team is willing to ride the ride, it doesn't mean you have to ride it. You simply wait at the exit for your teammates to finish, and join them once they exit.

That way, everyone can have fun in the Rally, and not worry about rides they don't do!

yeah we had to use this function last year as 1 member of our team cannot go on spinny rides (like the teacups) and i will never EVER go on the Maliboomer

I think one of the highlights for me last year was seeing the look on "TarzanTrashcanMan's" face when he was going on Maliboomer for the first time. It was classic and I had to make sure I had video of it.

It will be a dinner at HoJo's. Details are still being figured out. But we figure if you'll be spending a marathon day at the park on Saturday, better fuel it up on Friday night.

We can't do Gumball Rally on a Sunday. It is an all day event and too many people have to leave by early afternoon on Sunday due to work on Monday. We've always had this issue, but it works out best this way. However, we are doing our 4 hour "Practice Rally" on a Sunday for this very reason.

That makes sense. Btw, do we HAVE to have team shirts? I would think not, but I want to make sure. I'd like to have them, but idk if I have the time or money to make them hahahaha.
