That is one of the great things about the Gumball Rally, you end up riding attractions that you had forgotten about or never think to ride. So much fun.

True... which is why I am so excited... I finally get to do some of the smaller attractions that I like for a change... but I was not referring to the Fantasyland Dark Rides... we always do those on our trips... I meant things that are often overlooked when she goes along with me like Davy Crocket Explorer Canoes, The Riverboats, Casey Jr. Circus Train, Storybookland Canal Boats, HISTA, Dumbo, King Arthurs Carousel, the Mad Tea Party and the main street vehicles [I assume you can rack up a lot of points for doing each one since theres the horse drawn carriage, the fire engine, and the omnibus... not to mention you have the Disneyland Railroad right there]!

She is big on the E-Tickets and the classics like Haunted Mansion and Pirates so its not like she doesnt like certain attractions she just overlooks the smaller ones half the time... and I love my share of E-Tickets too but the smaller ones are fun too!

Darn....The practice rally is scheduled for the same date as MouseAdventure. I guess we won't be practicing.

That's a bummer about the practice rally. Didn't realize there was a scheduling conflict. But that shouldn't keep you from signing up for the Full Rally. The practice is just a fun diversion to keep everyone thinking about the Rally (team planning, etc) until the big day.

I'm signing up as a spotter for this thing. The idea of running like a maniac around DL doesnt appeal to me but watching the rest of you do it DOES.....Muahahahah!!!

Hello to everyone.. any advice for a first timer who is going to attend the gumball rally? I'm new here and I don't know anyone her and i am also very shy so this is going to be hard for me but at the same time it is a good opptunity to get know people. Is there any rules that I must know before I particapate. thanks and have a great day.

I'd honestly go to a Sunday meet before hand. On rally day, everything is spelled out for you and it's pretty easy to follow the rules. Knowing a few faces and making friends ahead of time will make the experience MUCH better.

Hi there, and welcome to MiceChat. We're glad you're here!

If you want to participate in the Gumball Rally and you don't have a partner, you'll need to get one. We'll be starting another thread for those folks who are looking to put together a team, or are looking to join an existing team. Keep checking back here periodically for the development of that thread.

You might also follow Aashee's advice about checking out a Sunday Meet in advance, or even participating in the free Practice Rally on April 26th. You're sure to meet other interested MiceChatters at both.

Most of the rules for the Gumball Rally are pretty simple. Gumball Rally contestants are expected to abide by all of Disneylands rules, i'e., no running/horseplay, no line cutting, no misuse of the FastPass system, etc. Most importantly, Rally participants should not infringe upon the enjoyment of the Parks by other guests.

Above all we want everyone to have a great time! This event is all about the fun and comraderie of participating in a rewarding, yet exhausive experience. Wear comfy shoes, and bring water... you'll need it. It can be a long day, but one you'll remember for the rest of your life.

Absoluteley! One of the reasons we're doing the Practice Rally is so that folks who are blocked out on May 30th can get an idea of how much fun the full-length Gumball Rally is.

I would highly encourage you to try the Practice Rally. Once you do, you'll really want to do the real deal!
