Just booked my ticket.

My family and I will be in Anaheim on Thursday. Not being from the area, what would be the recommended time to leave Anaheim if I won't be attending the pin trading event but just concerned about making it to the theatre in time for the pre-screening entertainment?

I would leave around 9pm if not a little sooner. Should give enough time to get down there and be there before the doors open at 10pm. If you have never been to the El Capitan, they have a great Wurlitzer organ and they will have that playing at 10, so I would get there early to enjoy that.

Hmmm...I'm around 10 minutes away from the El Capitan as well!

I'm not a D23 member or else I'd go for the movie and the pin trading and to get that Up Marquee pin.

Oh well, hopefully there are some left over of that pin the next day.

Just reserved my tickets over the phone for the screening. Pin event is sold out though.

Hmmm...I wonder how well attended this screening will be. It seems like a bad sign that they still have tickets available on the day of the show. I hope that doesn't indicate a lack of interest in the film in general, meaning poor box office this weekend.

But...glad everyone got tickets! See you there!

I'm so excited to see the movie (for free and with popcorn and soda no less!) and to see all of you who are going as well.

If anyone gets to Hollywood early and is looking for a neat place to eat, there are a couple of fun places across the street from the El Cap in the Hollywood and Highland center. One of them is called uWink - you order from video screens. It is sort of a neat experience. The other place I love is Koji's Shabu Shabu (Japanese Shabu house).

I hope to be at the theatre early, so look for me. I'll be the one who is dressed like he just got off work (because I will have) - Suit and tie.

For the 1st event, i thought it went very well! Everyone seems a bit disorganized at the beginning with the line situation, but it all worked smoothly and the surprises were awesome! Too bad I didn't get to meet any of you guys and gals there! Way to go D23!!
