Re: COLORADO (and western region) Micechatters Meet!

Of course! My issue is that school is still in session, so my weekends tend to be rushed, but after May, I'm wide open. Nephy (how do you pronounce that, my main motivation for meeting you!), am I one of those two you know of?

I'm thinking a mall where there is a Disney Store, frankly, but weirdly, I cannot find a listing of all the stores online. Anyone?

We don't have one down here in da Springs.

Denver is bound to have a few.

Or we can meet at Six Flags, I suppose. I'd prefer something a bit more focused, like a restaurant or coffeehouse.

I know my partner and I planning on a day at Water World in a few weeks--that might be another fun alternative.

In other words, we're in.

We have digital cameras, too, we just don't know how to manipulate the pics so they'll fit here.

Peace!
Roo

PS: We better be careful before someone posts, "why do they need a day to meet? They don't have a purple day, curly hair people day or plaid short wearing day? Why do they get a day? Why would Disney sponsor such a thing?"

Yeah- Roo! Yea, it was you I was thinking of.....

Park Meadows has a Disney store-

But yeah- Six Flags- got passes Water World- got passes. After May is fine.....Oh, and Quasi suggested maybe a day at the ren faire?

But don't worry about people giving us trouble--I'm the token straight chick hanging with my local guys! (maybe we should wear a color- just to be truly hilarious)

It's gonna be fun!

I can't wait to meet you guys-oh, and it's "Neff-e"

Well, I'm planning on being there NEXT May for the Bolder Boulder... but I guess over a year is too far in advance to plan.

Re: COLORADO (and western region) Micechatters Meet!

I know there are Disney stores at Park Meadows (as Nephy said) and also one at SouthWest Plaza...and I'm not sure about the Cherry Creek Mall...other than that I don't know.

and yeah, anytime after May also works best for me. I'd be more inclined to do 6 flags than Water World...sorry, just personal preferences.

And we should SO wear a color...something random...hmm...

Re: COLORADO (and western region) Micechatters Meet!

DQ, I'd invite you over on Memorial Day, but my entire brood is descending that day for Territory Day in Old Colorado City.

What's cool about this tread? I'm noticing we do have a certain spunk, we Coloradoans, don't we? I mean, I don't see Iowans or Dakotans or the like doing that. Interesting.

Okay, so after May, it sounds like. I wondering if we should do something cheap (coffeehouse) at first and then see about going to Six Flags (we're not getting passes this year, dangnabit). SouthWest Plaza is still standing? I remember when that was built. Ren Festival might be an idea. Personally? I hate the blasted thing, it's too expensive to see sweaty people in dirty clothes.

Oy.

But hey, this is Nephys game, so I'll let her do the planning--I'm just a type A, I'm sorry about that! Smack me when you meet me!

This can be cool!

Peace out,
Roo

Re: COLORADO (and western region) Micechatters Meet!

I was thinking about the whole "We should wear a color thing" and then I realized I have some other options. First, I have a shirt that says "Colorado: it's hip to be square" which could be fun, and then I have this tacky buffalo shirt as I call it that's very cowboyish and...well tacky...it has buffalos on it so yeah.

So we could go that route and embrace our state...or we could not, I really don't care either way, just a random idea I had while walking to class.

But I guess we should figure out what to do first...hmmm. I'm all for cheap fun things...but that's alway the trick, isn't it?
