Northern California August Event

Hey there

Hi there

Ho there

Hello NorCal MC'ers.

Thought we might plan some sort of event in August.

This thread is to discuss dates and options. Obviously if we could manage to do it on a weekday it would make the crowds smaller but I assume work may get in the way.

But please chime in with options for dates that are good or bad.

Some thoughts for possible events

Bonfante Gardens

Winchester Mystery House

Marine World/Discovery Kingdom

Old Town Sacramento/Railroad Museum

Feel free to chime in with comments and of course other suggestions.

emma has been begging to go to marine world...i think one of the fast food places has good coupons too! we'll be there...somewhere! haha!

by the way...we are available during the week...but the first two weekends we're booked :-/

I am taking most of August off work to go on trips, a weekday would probably work for me. Weekends are definatly out, but if it's a weekday, I will try. I'd go for any, but I'm mostly interested in Discovery Kingdom or Winchester Mystery House

Ok folks, we need to make a choice. Sorry for the slow response on my part but I am dealing with a congested right ear, which is driving me nutso (any hints ??)

I will try to post a poll on the location of the event

this is almost one of those 'too many choices' situations! haha!
tig...CLARITIN! or allegra...i think you can get them otc, worse come to worse...get to the dr... oh yeah...the other thing that helps is the allergy nose sprays!

I vote for the Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk for obvious reasons!

Never been to a MC Meet before, but if you guys did in at Discovery Kingdom, I would definitely consider dropping by.

I know the server has been slow lately so that might explain the lack of responses.

We've got 2 votes for Bonfante and 2 for Discover Kingdom.

Anyone else want to respond ?

Or maybe we just need some time off between events, or perhaps a different type of event.

I know there was a suggestion that I just pick a time and place but I'd like to do something people want to do.
