I would love to meet up for dinner one of the days. However I'm probably going to be heading back to Nor Cal on Sat, it was sold out for that day by the time I found out I could have the time off work.

Too bad it looks like you're not going to CCSD.
Yeah, it stinks. Hopefully I will be returning to Disneyland next year and I can meet you both then.

As far as Emerald City goes, you got to be more optimistic. By the time it comes around again (April 09) Shocker_Batman could be writing major title. I mean, Geoff Johns can't write everything.

True that, my friend. There's only so many hours in the day.

I certainly hope that he's got a major title. Hell. He'd take anything from anyone. But one that pays his way to conventions would be a definite plus.

Dood! Take the Amtrak! My son and I are going on Sunday and we're taking the train from Fullerton, then the Trolley from the train station. $48 round trip for both of us!

Re: San Diego Comic Con - 2008

I just bought my ticket for Thursday. After I read that some Disney animation folks will be there.

Re: San Diego Comic Con - 2008

Could someone do me a favor? My partner and I LOVE City of Heroes/City of Villains MMORPG. I believe they are planning on having a booth at the comic con. If someone could take a picture or two--that would be very, very cool.

However, I'm sure you'll all be overstimulated. If you can remember, but if not, I'm still going to read each and every trip report.

Peace,
Roo

Re: San Diego Comic Con - 2008

I'll be there all 4 days (my husband is an inker for The Darkness for Top Cow, so he has autograph signings every day), come by the booth!

I've never done a Mice Chat meetup, but that would be really fun!

I'm super excited to see the Spaced panel discussion (it's my favorite show) and I'll have a team of Comic Con noobs with me, so it's going to be a GREAT show this year.

I'll do my best, but as Shocker-Batman's unofficial official publicist, my duties will have to take priority.

So basically, if I remember, if I have room on the memory card, and if I make it over there. (Dude, I have YET to see the entire floor ANY year. It is so massive, I never see everything.)

My family, especially my kids, would love to be at this event, but unfortunately just like last year, the dates are the exact same dates that we;ll be up in Tahoe.

Hope you all have a great time and please be sure to post some trip reports and pictures!
