What would you like to see at the Haunted Mansion 40th??

I would like to see more replicas of stuff in the ride, ie: The Bride, The Different Ghosts, the Caretaker, the Grandfather Clock.

Well I definitely would want to see some pins. Oh, and a book on the history of HM. Maybe one already exists....not sure.

page up for months, already.

Disney's Summer Pin Festival 2009 - The Haunted Mansion® Opin House

A Summer Pin Event for the 40th Anniversary of the Haunted Mansion.

When I asked about HM events for next year, they said the Pin event may
be the end of July. But no specific date had been set.

And they know that for an actual Merchandise event for the non-Holiday version of the Haunted Mansion (as ALL the events for the HM for the past several year have only been for the Haunted Mansion Holiday.) would need to be much better organized than the Tiki Room event this past summer. They thought the HM event might be held at one of the DL hotels instead. (A Cast Member also mentioned that they were thinking of doing some items in limited editions of 13, but you know how things can change in the planning stages.) However, the recent Nightmate event at the Disneyana shop on Main Street went better, so I HOPE they DON'T think that the Disneyana Shop would be able to handle the HM 40th
merchandise.

Disney really needs to make this a special event, with the merchandise Done by the Random Selection Process, and the merchandise and registration done at one of the hotel ballrooms, like they have done with many previous events. And a panel discussion really should be done, as well as a special ride through - with some added haunts for the evening!

More WDCC pieces to go with the HHK ghost set. (although the manager at the Art of Disney at Hollywood Studios told me that 4 pieces were in the works so what better time to release them than the 40th) Anyway would love to see the ballroom scene, madam Leota, Caretaker, Bride etc etc
