SHAG "Spirited" Haunted Mansion 40th Anniversary Cocktail Reception

One of the saddest parts of this "event" is that there isn't going to be a Panel Discussion. I think most fans were planning on something more the size of what they did for the Haunted Mansion Holiday Special Events, or the premiere of Hollywood Tower of Terror in DCA.

Another disappointing things about this is that there doesn't even appear to be any type of special ride through. Charging anything over $80 bucks for this type of event is insane.

We'll have to start a separate thread for that event, too. Yes, it does sound better. I'm still a bit surprised that the 2nd tier jumps all the way up to $250.
OUCHHHHH!!!! And it's a little surprising that they aren't doing reservations for all four tiers on the same day?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

The other surprising thing about these events is that the reservations for the event in September is the 1st one they are taking reservation for???? Good Grief, do they really expect to have pictures of the merchandise of these events so far in advance, when that is a continual issue. And with the event in September, the Shag cocktail party, just a month prior, really seems like overkill. It will be interesting to see what kind of attendance they will get for both of the big events.

I'm with you, Aladdin. I would REALLY like to see the merchandise they are selling. I'd like to attend the dinner, but, do want to know what's up for sale. And, the tickets go on sale in Feb, for Sept!!!! I want HM 40th merchandise!!!

I wonder what type of collectibles they will have with Shag's images on them. Anybody have a clue? I can't afford the lithos, that's for sure!

Just look at some of the other items that were sold at the DL Shag events, and that should be a pretty good indication of what is to come, for that event. They usually do some smaller prints of a few of his lithos, that come matted and ready to frame in the mini-poster size.
