Mansion O'Pin Plot - Summer Pin Festival Kick-Off Event

Finally, after waiting several months for more details on the Haunted Mansion Pin Event for 2009, some solid information has appeared on the Disneyland Pin Trading Site!! Looks like the Haunted Mansion 40th will be the theme for the Summer 2009 Pin Festival!!!

Haunted Mansion O'Pin Plot - Summer Pin Festival Kick-Off Event
Date: Saturday, June 20, 2009
Time: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Location: Exhibit Hall, Disneyland® Hotel


Join us for an amazing experience as you scour the grounds of the Haunted Mansion O'Pin Plot, in search of your final resting place. You will be sure to find 'plots' of trading space to rest your weary bones, as you swap cryptic tales with other prospective buyers and traders who are dying to meet you. Be sure to look around every corner and you'll discover hidden treasures of the estate and rooms full of haunted happenings and spirited activities. Be sure to bring the kids along to enjoy the Plots O'Fun area where kids from 5 -12 can make new friends and enjoy activities just for them. This luxury after-life-style event requires you to make final arrangements now.

Looks like they will be doing this event in similar style to the previous pin events in Summer 2006 and Summer 2007. Reservations will be taken on line. And this year, they want to take reservation much further in advance. There is one package to purchase. Here are the details:

Guests who register from February 18 - March 18, 2009 will receive a limited edition pin created exclusively for the event. Guests who register after March 18, 2009 will not receive the pin. Haunted Mansion O'Pin Plot T-shirt*
Upon registering for the Haunted Mansion O'Pin Plot Event, please be sure to indicate your desired t-shirt size. Guests who register after May 1, 2008, will not be guaranteed their desired shirt size.

ALSO, Please notice that a Separate Merchandise Event for the Haunted Mansion's 40th is being planned for August 2009. This information has just been announced also, and will be a Shag cocktail Party! Once again, this merchandise event looks to be modeled on the Shag cocktail party held for the release of Shag's 50th Anniversary merchandise.
