I read that, too. BUT it just seems so ridiculous. If my husband can't get in, why would I still want to go without him or vice-versa. Or any couple or group. It just seems SILLY. I know they have plenty of people who will go without a guarantee of a SO being able to register as well, but still... it just sucks actually. The online registering system is terrible too. It always malfunctions. *sniff* We really wanted to go, but wouldn't dream of doing something so magical without one another. It's not worth taking a chance for both of us to try to get tickets when there's a huge chance we couldn't both get them. ok end rant. Sorry. It's just frustrating!

I can't say anything about this event, however I know that the Snow White 70th Anniversary Event and the Dream, Imagine Create Event they were selling tickets up until about 5 minutes before the event started... While I was checking in for the Snow White event they were asking if anyone would be interested in purchasing tickets... It really sadended me because unless people actually buy the tickets for these events they won't put them on in the future and the events are just amazing...

The packages include park entry only after 9 p.m. for Disneyland and after 6:30 for DCA. Does that mean the parks will be closed in the evening/night except for people who buy the HM packages?

It's lame that I would have to buy 2 tickets to get into the parks on the same day (and the $85 package doesn't even include DCA entry at all), but it might be fun to have 3 hours at Disneyland with only a smallish crowd of HM birthday celebrants.

The packages include "Spine-tingling Toast & Cake Slicing at the Haunted Mansion attraction." The seance and dinner would have to be held elsewhere since the packages don't include park admission until 9 p.m.

No way they could have a seance, dinner and cake in the mansion and get everybody through the ride all in 3 hours.

Those packages are pretty outrageously expensive for what you get, taking advantage of true HM fanatics.

BTW, I too am ticked that you can only get one ticket at a time. If they are going to limit it it should at least be at two.

The Plot Thickens. . . After five husbands and five untimely deaths, the Black Widow Bride of the Haunted Mansion will wed once more. Has she found her soul mate? Or will another groom meet his doom? Join us, Foolish Mortals, and we'll dig up the answers at our ghostly celebration that everyone's dying to attend.

Event packages are as follows:
Grinning Ghosts - $475
Foolish Mortals - $430
Dearly Departed - $250
Hitchhikers - $85
Early Demise Offer:

Guests that register through February 28th only, will receive an "early demise" pin.

Again, none of the merchandise info has been released yet, for this event, but expect some of the merchandise to have the above logo, on it.

The SHAG Haunted Mansion Event,
to be held 8-8-09
