I am really considering attending this and I will probably be alone so hopefully one of you Micechatters won't mind me tagging along!
I am a smart woman but I am having a hard time seeing the difference in the top 3 packages. Edit: ok, now I see.
So, can you have additional people in your room if you do the highest package?
Just got 2 Grinning Ghost packages - they sold out sooo fast - quicker than 8 minutes. It should be a very fun event. I have never been to anything like this.
They allow name changes for the guest if you link your registrations but not the primary registering guest
I'm kinda disappointed.
I tried to buy 3 Grinning Ghosts packages, but when I hit submit, it said that online registrations weren't being accepted anymore, and this was about 10 or so minutes past 11. So I tried calling the number they suggested, and sent out an e-mail as they suggested, so I feel I'm currently in limbo. I'm very sad that I might not be able to attend this event. Darn!
Hi, I can't believe that the top two tiers sold out already.
Yeah, the guy with Event Services told me that it took only about 2 minutes to sell out. He did mention though that there were a lot of duplicate entries, as well as incomplete entries, so it would be a good idea to sign up for the waiting list opening up tomorrow.

You register and fill everything out at the time of registering
You can purchase guests tickets using your credit card - they just have to be done individually and you chance them running out of tickets before everyone gets registered. But I would assume the lower tiers have more availability
You would have to buy the tickets you want and the only option you would have is bringing someone else and just changing the name. That can also only be done up until sometime in August. So you would still be stuck with your purchased tickets. Thats how I interpreted the policies anyways.
Keep refreshing when the time comes and if you have multiple people or computers that may be the only way you'll get the number of tickets you want.

Well, being that I was stuck at jury duty all day (for the 5th day in a row) I was unable to purchase tickets! Boo!
I have two friends who thought they didn't get tickets because during purchasing it said sold out. My friend called and they had a computer glitch (to many people streaming) and a bunch of people who thought they didn't get the package did get it. So hopefully it will go a lot smoother.

Not smoother. Server timed out after I entered my credit card info and waited 5 minutes. Took me to a page that said "server not initialized", so I don't know if they charged my card or I got a reservation. I don't think so. I started another browser and it said $250 pkg was already sold out, so I'm only on the waiting list. Sigh. I can't get thru on the phone either to find out any info.
Dearly Departed sold out at 11:36am.
I managed to complete my registration at 11:04am, but couldn't get back through to register any guests. Looks like I am going solo!
