Exactly the right forum: pins = merchandise. One of the more popular forms of merchandise that Disney likes to build "events" around.

AND it's sold out?

AND the wait list is filled?

Well, it was only $25 bucks, for the T-Shirt and a couple of pins.
May 1st was the last day for pre-registration.
