| Re: Star Wars Weekends 2008 Question By coincidence, our WDW trip this year coincides with Star Wars weekend. While it's interesting I think I'd rather spend my time doing the Disney thing. What effect do the Star Wars weekend have on queue length in the rest of the park. If all the Star Wars fans are spending the day in line for signatures or merchandise does that free up the rest of the park at all?

In other words, the regular attractions won't be any less crowded. In fact the overflow of SWW visitors can be felt everywhere, just by fact that the parks are a little more busy: e.g. SW fans may want to drop in on ToT because they're already in the park. As a SW fan I think it's fun to be there around SWW just to see all the characters roaming DHS. It really is the only way to see most of these costumed characters anywhere.
