What a gorgeous hotel. I can imagine the rates are pretty high.

    Nice pictures.

I still think it's a bit of a behemoth, but I'll stop peeing on the buffet now.

Is this a 5 star hotel? I wonder how many if any Disney hotels are 5 star? (Grand Floridian is 4 star?)

No Disney hotel is 5 star rated. Stars are given out very liberally by many web sites and are for the most part grossly inaccurate. Travelocity, Hotwire, Priceline all over rate the hotels they book and use there own "Star" ratings. There are only two rating that really matter in the industry. Mobil/Exxon's Star Rating (of which the top IS 5 star, there is no such thing as a six or seven star rated hotel by Exxon/Mobil). And AAA's Diamond Rating. The Grand Floridian is a 4 Diamond Hotel by AAA and a 3 star hotel by Exxon/Mobil.

Go to Mobiltravelguide.com for more information and a complete listing of all star rated hotels.

But this Tokyo Disneyland Hotel.... just from the pictures I would guess is destined to be four star. It is absolutely over the top beautiful. Looks are the only thing that earns yours star, but I have a feeling it will have excellent amenities and service as well.

I thought Michellin did a star system that was the industry gold standard.

Anyone have pics of the park from the hotel rooms? Isn't that why you pay the money to stay in THAT hotel?
