Simply amazing. I like how the new tower compliments Tokyo Disney Sea and helps fill out the NY section of the park. I also can't wait for the review of the OTHER new Tower under construction in Paris. I think we are about to find out what a difference budget really makes with a single ride technology.

That pre-show is amazing. It would be great to have something like the stained glass effect at DCA or MGM. I really want to take a trip to Tokyo, anyone willing to help me pay for it? I can understand the cost after reading Joe's post. The safety upgrades probably cost alot as well as using the Japanese manufacturer. I really like the lightning effect ont he outside too. I wonder if they can add that to the other Towers?
It certainly beats DCA's version. I am not sure if I prefer it to DMGMS version. But the preshow is wonderful. I never felt that the Twilight Zone connection was needed in the ride. A duel dimension concept has been in Sci Fi books for years. Twilight Zone is also an anchient show that anyone under 35 would not know about.
My hat's off to the Japanese. They certainly out did Disney!

Anyone have another link?
Hello, Alain Littaye, here. I want to let you all know that Two movies , created by WDI for the attraction, and relating the origin of the Hightower hotel mystery can be seen on the official web site: http://www.tot1899.com
As it's all written in japanese on the site, here is how to find them! After the intro, when you arrive on the home page, you'll find a small "copyright disney" on the right, in the lower part of the page. Counting from the right , at the same level than this copyright, click on the 3rd japanese link . It will lead you to the page with the choice of the two videos. Don't miss them, they're great, and one of the movie last at least 5 minutes!
yea i want to know how that idol effect workes too! I remember an initial storyboard/ride script say that the stained glass window would break and the guests would be able to walk through it to the loading area...but still! that effect rocked!
