    'Lifted' official Mice Chat reviews

'Lifted', the latest Pixar short, had its premiere in October at the Chicago Film Festival* It's the first film for Pixar by Academy Award-winning Sound Designer Gary Rydstrom and can be seen preceding 'Ratatouille' in theatres.

It is funny, fresh and feels wholly believable in a twisted National Enquirer kind-of-way. The film has a wonderful Chaplin-esque feel and a hilarious over the credits denouement.
Do not arrive late for this great appetizer!

Absolutely! I have never heard an audience laugh as much as they were when watching this short.

I look forward to so much more from Gary Rydstrom!

I was giggling from moment one in this short. The timing could not have been more perfect, particularly the "dog sneeze" at the end.

    Saw it twice too...

I was dying, I was cackling like a witch.

There were some older teenagers with their mom next to me the second time, and I heard the girl turn to her mom and say, "What's so funny?" to which the mom replied, "Who knows?"

    If you had to ask....

I watched The Incredibles with my parents the other day (went out to dinner and they mentioned they never saw it. I have central A/C and it was 90 degrees, so it wasn't too hard to convince them). I re-watched the short, Boundin', and that one is probably the only one that I didn't completely, 100% enjoy. It was cute, but not nearly as amusing as the others.

Makes me want to go watch Geri's Game. Cracks me up!

My favorite short, by far. It was so adorable and funny and I don't think I've heard a group of nerds laugh so much over one short.

I really thought that this was Pixar's worst feature film short. This one had too many gags. All their other shorts had a meaning to them, even Boundin'!
