Cameras on the Stampeda at Port Aventura sounds excellent. We were there early last year and that was one of my favourite rides in the park, if anyone else is going there, as you get to the top of the first lift, look behind you at the mass of wood tracks, the Stampeda (two tracks) intertwines with the Tomahawk (kids wooden coaster) so there is just the see of wood, you can even see the expanse of it by looking on Google Earth.
I'm feeling better and better about Toon Studio; the more I look at it the more I like it. Plus by the sounds of it Crush has been majorly improved :-D . Also, I seriously think that one of the reasons my original impressions of Toon Studio weren't great was because of the weather, it looks so much better with blue skies though sadly that isn't the case all the time in france :-(. I only wish the construction walls for Hollywood Blvd. wouldn't be there for my visit but oh well, for the greater good
It's rather different I think but I'm not entirely sure. Catastrohpe Canyon's the same I think but everything else is different. Paris has dinotopia, reign of fire and the costuming building, not that any of those are huge draws but hey.
Toon Studios are a great addition to the park after the Tower is open all that will be needed is a good show at night(like Fantasmic ) and a good restaurant to make it a good alternative to the main park.Crushes Coaster is good fun and will have long lines in the months to come.
Also Id like to say Allains book"From Sketch to Reality"is probably one of the best Disney books ever(and I have most of them)and that is not only for european fans but for fans all over the world. The pictures are breathtaking and it tells the history of DLP in an easy and entertaining way.
How does their tram tour compare to the one at MGM? Is it basically the same thing as ours or is there an actual reason to take the tour in Paris.
Hello, Alain, here. Fizzog is right: if we except the catastrophe canyon , all the rest of the tram tour is different. Don't expect the tram tour of your life, but the "reign of fire" set worth the look.
Also, i just want to let you know that i 've posted on my blog Disney and more a great series of very high definition Toon Studio wall paper pictures for your computer desktop and they're all look great!
