How many of you come to MiceChat to discuss Disney? I love Disney, and when I first started the message board thing I did talk about Disney, but slowly that went away. Ocasionally I will, but for the most part, I am a lounge lurker. If I were to go into the DLR forum, I highly doubt a lot of them would know who I was.

So what about you? HMMMMMM?????

We were all drawn here originally for our love of Disney and Disneyland. However, the other topics also discussed here are so much fun. Where else can you discuss your love of Disneyland, the latest movie you have seen, the plot of Harry Potter and what your family means to you all in the same place.

MiceChat has it all. That is why our member numbers are growing.

There are still a whole lot of Disneyland and other Disney Park threads.

Granted before July 17th, the interest was probably more on the parks. I think MiceChat has the perfect mix. After all our lives are not only about Disney. We have other things that make up our personalities and our days. That is shown by the posting in all the other areas. That is what makes MiceChat great.

If you read posts in each and every section, you soon realize that the MiceChat community has some darn nice people.

I am so glad I found it.

Here's the threads I read all the time: DLR, non Disney Parks, all entertainment, MC lounge, gibson girls and lost boys. Now I dont read every single thread, just the ones that look like fun and usually after a thread gets 4 or 5 pages I loose interest (except for a certain few).

I also occasionally look at DLP and HKDL and the litter box but thats it.

I post most frequently in the lounges, and DLR when there's a picture thread or non Disney parks to discuss, well, non Disney parks

letely, I have been using the new posts button, so I don't really look at the specific forums- if a thread sounds interesting, then I check it out.

I came here for the Disneyland forums, but now they are mostly about stuff like "hey, I think Cinderella got a new wig"

I am glad that I invested time all over because I do spend the most time in the lounges and I have been able to make some great friendships!

I am with you guys. I came here for DLR stuff, but these other cool rooms are so much fun, and you guys are super cool! I love the fact that we can discuss non-DLR things and not get blasted, as opposed to some other sites out there.

Honestly, I grow very tried of DLR posts like, "My Ideas to fix the trash cans in Whateverland." I mean, it is like watching paint dry. If the OPs ideas were that solid, they would work for DLR. Don't get me wrong I am all for creative ideas, but some grow tired, that's all. I do enjoy posts about DLR trivia, little known facts, trip reports, photos, etc.

Anyway, thanks to MC Admin, mods, posters, etc. You guys make this a fun place to not get my work done. Now, if only I lived in CA....

I also use this feature. It brings all the new posts are threads with new postings onto one page so I dont' have to click on every single forum to see what is interesting to me.

This is one place I can talk about things Disney without getting laughed at or made fun of. I'm not obsessive over my Disney things but I do pine to go back to the park more often (which because of distance and $ that isn't possible). When I read about people and their trips, it takes me back to when I was at the park. This is my connection to all things Disney without actually being at the park.

I started just lurking to see what was new for the 50th Birthday Party. Then I got into the human interest posts and threads. For some reason the places I tend to post the most in are 1) MiceChat Lounge 2) Disneyland Resort and 3) the Litter Box. I only recently started posting more in the Gibson Girls. I guess it all depends on my mood and my interest in the threads and topics.

While I'm infinitely impressed with the # of ways people can ask similar questions (i.e. What is your favorite ride?), I'd have to agree that non-park related discussions are often where it's at.

I'm a big user of the new post button.
I love all the fun posts and enjoy those immensely and am probably drawn to them more than the disney threads. I do read/view the meet picture posts, I read about hotels....
so, I guess I still do a bit of both. I read whatever looks interesting once I hit new posts.

I love disneyland, and DCA but I also love the lounge and real life ups and downs. I am so glad to have found this place and such interesting posts! ( and people! )

I come mainly for Disney news but I get involved in other stuff once in a while. Most of my non-Disney time is spent on another, non-Disney board. However, there is PLENTY of crossover between people and events.

I came for the Disney, but I stayed for the sluts.

When I first started, I was only in it for the Disney info. Slowly I discovered the lounges and felt very welcomed and comfortable here. Once I started going to the meets, I was hooked. I've met so many fun and interesting people that I never would have known otherwise, and found a wonderfully supportive audience for my lame day to day stuff.

I still read the DLR forum, but I spend a majority of my time in the lounges.

I came here to hear about all the new things happening at the park since I moved away and at first it was great. It made me feel like I was still "In the Know" with Disneyland stuff and felt more at home.

But gradually, the opposite has happened and I almost find myself avoiding Disneyland related topics- which is weird being on a Disney board!
Seeing all the fun you guys have and seeing how many things are happening and changing that I am missing has become almost unbearable. So I shy away from that topic these days.

But I love coming here so much, I feel like I have made some real friends and now couldn't imagine not talking to you guys everyday!
