Hi Alan, sounds like you have your day planned. ( or your kidneys planned your day) Take care and enjoy the air conditioning.![]()
I hope it goes as well as it can Alan. Thanks for keeping up us updated on how things are going, but importantly providing us with so much information so we can change our ways.
I know at the start when I was diagnosed with diabetes I was scared to eat at all, then I got to a point where I got tired of watching everything and just ate junk. I'd sometimes eat to get my blood sugar up so I would get really sleepy and just nap the days away. Eventually feeling bad all the time was what got me to change my ways.
I suppose most people don't understand that diabetes effects something everyone must do to stay alive - eat. It sucks at times, at least for me, to see people enjoying certain things that I cannot. For instance I haven't had any type of juice for about 12 years, and I used to enjoy orange juice ... but no more. Now I just drink water, tea or diet soda ... not much of a selection.
As with everything there are good and bad days, but thankfully there's lots of folks here who make the good days outnumber the bad. Take care and keep us posted Alan.
