I'm in Vista, north San Diego county. I thought the dogs had knocked something over or someone was breaking into the house when I first felt it. I haven't done a major check of the house but as long as my computer and internet work, I'm good.
I just talked to my mom (in Rowland Heights) and she said it was really bad. Poor thing, she's crying and I'm 70 miles away . She just had knee replacement surgery 3 weeks ago and probably feels like she can't get away quick if needed. Of course, my dad is useless. Then he keeps asking her, "did you feel the aftershock?" He's a real POS!
As a precaution, traditionally all attractions are temporarily shut down so they can be checked for damage and ensure they are safe. This wasn't a huge earthquake so I would expect everything to be up and going by early afternoon, if that.
