Re: My backyard/home haunt: Yosemite Creek Ghost Town

Cool display!

I saw the first signs that Halloween is approaching. I went to the local Value Village yesterday and they started setting up the racks for the Halloween costumes.

Anybody started planning yet?

My Billy the Puppet costume from last year is finally complete. I recently found an oversized red bowtie to go with it. All I need now is to find a tricycle.

I think the costume trend this year will be Iron Man, Batman, and Indiana Jones, throw in a few Hulks in there as well.

The buildings definitely help the theme, yes...and pictures will be appearing of course once this year's decorations start to go up.

Thanks, glad you enjoy! I sadly never went to that one, but I do frequent my share of haunts heh for ideas and general observations and such.

Thank you, and indeed I shall..the ratio is about 40 to 60, made versus store bought...but of course I end up modifying a lot of props some, and always buy for theme.

Thanks indeed, it is very good live also...I will be making a video, gradually, this year and hopefully capture most of the essence of it...so that will be posted here naturally when season is over.
