    Alice in Wonderland Riddle. (solved)

Ok. Anyone tha has seen the movie knows the famous riddle "Why is a raven like a writing desk?"

For years I have been wondering if thre even was an answer to this riddle. "Who woudl write a riddle with no answer?" I though. So I started my search. I got the book from the library and looked to see if maybe there was an answer in there. No luck.

Well. I did some search online and finaly found the answer.

    So without any further adue.

Why is a raven like a writing desk?

    Because Poe wrote on both.

There are some answers in a book called the Annotated Alice. I have the book at home (I'm at work right now, don't tell the boss I'm on MC). Lewis Carroll never intended to have an answer for it.

I think one answer that Lewis Carroll gave to a reporter is that ~both make few notes and most of them are flat~

If you want to see The Annotated Alice up close, there are enlarged pages hanging in the Woodland Hills branch of Fry's Electronics - 6100 Canoga Avenue, about a mile north of the I-101 Ventura Freeway. (If you're coming South there's no Canoga offramp, take DeSoto and double back. Avoid Topanga Canyon and Ventura Bl. if you can - looooong light, mega busy.)

When you come in the front door, you 'fall down the rabbit hole', and it gets better from there...
