    Talking Tomorrow is "R" day

Tomorrow is my last day of work. I walk out tomorrow a free man. Not a rich man mind you. It will be tight and I will have to cut back on buying every toy and action figure I see, but I will be able to survive on Social Security and a small Pension Fund.

It's kind of exiting and scary at the same time. I keep thinking that instead of getting up early and catching a crowded bus to end up sitting in front a computer all day and doing "work" and can get up earlier, ride an uncrowded bus and end up at Disneyland (where I would rather be anyway) on a weekday and enjoy the Parks. And as summer ends, the Park will become less crowded during the week as well. I can hardly wait for my first weekday trip to Disneyland in a long time without having to think about going into work the next day, or any day for that matter. Of course I will go to more Sunday's now as I won't have to get up Mondays to go to work. I know that Sunday is when most Mice Chatter go, and I don't want to miss that.

So, that's my news for today. Tomorrow I am free. After a lifetime of working it's now my time to have fun.

    Happy "R"
Enjoy all your new free time!!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Wow! That is great news. I hope you make the most of this time of your life. Do all the stuff you always wanted to do. Who knows, you may even find a new kind of work that you feel passionately about? Most of all, be good to yourself and enjoy it. You can bet that we all want to be where you are now.

    Take care!

Great job - literally and figuratively. Enjoy, and don't forget about the rest of us poor souls slaving away.....

Actually, I'm rather thankful to be in sunny Arizona working, and not worrying about my next meal. I'm also very discouraged about the hurricane.

Sorry, didn't mean to go off topic, my mind (what's left of it) is wondering today.

    Re: Tomorrow is "R" day

I spent most of Thursday walking around the Topanga Plaza Mall, going over to Toys R Us, going to Staples to get another Storyteller package to make a book on my Harry Potter Theme Park.

Today I went up to Universal and took lots of pictures on the Tram Tour (I had the whole back row of Tram Car 3 to myself), so I could go from side to side and got plenty of pictures. I really wanted to get pictures of the War of the Worlds set they now drive the tram though, and I did. That is one big mother of a set. They aded sound effects, smoke and movement in some of the parts. It is very neat and well done. It look very real. I plan to update my blog this weekend to put up pictures from my last day at work, and pictures from Universal. I will let you all know when it is done.

One day next week after the holiday I plan a trip to Disneyland. Anyone else going to be around during the week, and if so, what day. I have a book on my apartment that I made with that Storyteller kit and I can bring it along is anyone is going to be there. I don't have a set day in mind, so I could plan any day that works out.
