Is anyone related to a famous person?

Is anyone related to a famous person?

It has been proven that I am related to general slokem, a famous general during the Civil War. Plus it has been proven that I am too related to another extremely famous Civil War general but I wont say who until later.

Anyone else here related to someone famous?

I was in a play one time, and the director of the play designed a set for a commercial, in the commericial was Kirstie Alley, Kirstie Alley was on Cheers with John Ratzenberger, John Ratzenberger did a voice on Shrek with John Lithgow, and John Lithgow was in Footloose with Kevin Bacon.
    What an idiot....

Yeah, I do that Twitter thing.

    No.
I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it.
That explains the trouble that I'm always in...

Hey, Six-Degrees-Of-Tui: Are you related to this director?

Dan Gable isn't a blood relative but he's married to a cousin of mine. Which I guess makes him my cousin by proxy

My great grandpa would have been famous (or at least wealthy) had Henry Ford not mass produced cars when he did. He invented something called the Weires Safety Steel Evener for horse drawn carriages. Unfortunately he did so a couple years prior to Ford. D'OH!

I know the guy that sings the "Hi diddly dee" song on the Pinocchio attractions, does that count? He's not related though so I guess not.

I am a direct decendent of William Brewster who was the minister on the Mayflower.

I also am related to the Cone Sisters of Baltimore who amassed a HUGE collection of impressionist art which now housed at the Baltimore Museum of Art but has tourd the world extensively.

The Prentice family name is memoralized in a building at Kent State - which was the backdrop for the 1970 shooting at the university. Kent is an old family university with 80% of my family on my father's side attending there.

Of my immediate generation, I am the only one who has held a SAG card.

we are related to an old movie star Barbara Britton, and william S Boyd an old cowboy star. My moms great Aunt Rose was Kathrine Hepburns house keeper She quit after seeing all the party guests jump into the pool naked LOL!
my mom wore kathrine hepburns cloths as her aunt got them from ms Hepburn all the time. She worked for her a long time but could not take the partys and mess any longer. ( yeah weird story but true )

I sort of am. But not in the A-list circles you might think of. Both my parents are Olympians. They both swam in the Tokyo Olympics in '64.

Also, I have a lot of American Indian in my family...my maternal grandmother's side. My great great grandmother was full blood from Taos Pueblo in New Mexico. All the streets in Taos are named after my ancestors.

That's about it though. Nothing overly exciting.

My great great (lots of greats) Uncle was a civil war general under Robert E. Lee- Lafayette McLaws. When I worked at Disneyland, I met with my scheduler and the first thing he asked me was "Are you related to this guy"?

TinkPink is not around today, so I will also add that Ethan Embry is her cousin. She has met him once or twice at family functions (She's All That, Sweet Home Alabama)

On my mom's side, I am related to Betsy Ross.

My step-grandma was the dresser for a very famous Hollywood actress, but the name escapes me at the moment.
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

my maternal grandfather was a well known scientist who worked on a lot of things for nasa and the aviation industry. i met a man who collected memoribilia from my grandfather and he fell all over himself when he learned i was his granddaughter. it was very strange, but also sweet, my grandfather died when my mom was 4, so there is a lot about him that i do not know.
    please be afraid.
