    Theifs of attenna ball mickeys

You know I noticed the people are really low. Ive had this happen to me 3 times were some fool takes my mickey head off the attenna. The last time it was the gold 50th mickey they broke the ears off and left him earless. Anyone else have this happen to them.

Im bored, lets go to Disneyland.

Re: Theifs of attenna ball mickeys

Back in an art class in college, one girl brought in a piece she made of tons of these mickey balls. When asked if she bought them, she admitted to taking them off car antannas, as if it were no big deal and only cost the owners a few cents really.

    I was appalled.
Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
    Marge: Pink.
    Homer: D'oh!
Marge: "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail!"

I had a Sorceror's Aprentice Mickey head that was stolen while my car was in a parking garage @ Mohegan Sun here in Connecticut.

I didn't think that it would be such a covetted item over on this coast. Now I always buy 2 whenever I get to the park.

Whenever I get any type of "antenna heads", I never put it on my car. Too easy and big of a temptation for idiots to take. What I found out is that most fit on ball point pens well. And if someone takes my ball point pen I can pinpoint it from across the room.

I think I need to super glue it on but then again they could just break more ears off. Another thing that always gets stolen is the yellow ribbons or support our troops ribbons magnets. Why would you do that?????

I had a regular Mickey antenna ball taken from my car at Pechanga!!! I guess the loser thought they could sell it for big bucks and go gamble the earnings off in the casino. Since then no mickey antenna ball goes on my car

If you put the mickey head on your car, just take it off whenever you go park somewhere and stick it in your car. They're very easy to take off and put on, and this would keep them safe. Just my 7 cents.

I have had mine stolen from my car at least 2-3 times...at the same place! I am pretty sure I know who it is, but it has since stopped. I think it's a lot more difficult to take them off my new car than my older one. That or I've been lucky. I still have 3 extras in my glove compartment...just in case.

I just leave on my plain Mickey antenna ball and it's been there for years now. When I buy holiday or special ones, I also always buy 2 and if the one gets stolen, then I just put back on the plain one.

Re: Theifs of attenna ball mickeys

I used to have them stolen all the time back when I lived in Vegas.

In the last 6 years of being here, I've only lost my POTC one in the parking lot of a renaissance faire. (I should have seen that one coming.)

However, my current Sorceror Mickey one was temporarily "stolen". I actually blamed some anonymous person, cursing under my breath. Then, it turns out, the culprit admitted it to me a couple weeks later - he did it as a joke one evening, and meant to give it back before I dropped him off at his car. He forgot, and left it in his pocket. In hindsight, it's actually kinda funny.

Re: Theifs of attenna ball mickeys

I once had the unfortunate displeasure of being in a car with people who engaged in the antenna ball stealing. I tried to protest, but i was the only person in the car who had a problem with it, so I was over ruled. What made it worse was that it wasn't one of the normal ones you could easily walk into a store and replace, it was a special one only given to CMs at the time, therefore, not replacable. I hate being the responsible person amongst idiots some times.

I have a Wilson Antenna ball, (from the movie Castaway), and I had one stolen while I was visiting the parks a few years back. I have a new one but he is starting to fade. He survived many a car wash!
