Glad to hear that you don't have any blockage. You could look at this as a blessing. Tv doctors were able to catch the problem and they will be able to treat it. Hugs and healing thoughts.

Kelly, I know its hard to quit smoking but look at it this way you have not been able to smoke while in the hospital so you have a head start. My dad used to always say he would have to be locked up for 3 days to quit, then he had a heart attack and was in the hospital for 5 so I reminded him of his quit smoking claim and it worked. You can do it, you are a strong person and have many wonderful reasons to continue to live a long and happy life. Make the changes and show your kids how tough their mom really is.

Thanks gina. But I have been smoking here. Not much though. But I will be quitting dr will be giving me drugd to help. Anyways. I am going home today. Yeah. Probably in a couple of hours

just read thru the entire thread.. WOW... i am in tears, I never knew so many people cared , honestly I didnt ((HUGS to you all))

ok I am home now.. waiting to pick up the meds from walgreens (well wayne will).. started the heart drugs today as well... have to see the dr on fri to see if the meds are doing ok (not making me sick) then enxt week the caridologist.. i guess the heart dr will be my best friend ., now I take the meds for about 3 months, to see if it has made the heart stronger, if not, I will probably need the angioplasty and possibly pace maker...if it is working I will just be a drug addict forever ..my left side of my heart is only working 20% of its capciity so darn weird, as I HAD NO symptoms at all.. i go into ER with stomache pains (which are now cured by the way) and find out i have a week and enlarged heart, the dr said it was a good thing I went to ER then they caught this, otherwise I could ahv e had a massive hart attack and died.. hence THE SILENT killer I suppose.. i had NO SYPTOMS at all like I said.. NOTHING

so this week i do NOTHING, take it easy bed rest, etc.. so much to do around the house, but I cant do a thing, sigh.. one thing I do want to do is celebrate canadian thanksgtiving this weekend, we were suppose to last week (hav e the turkey, etc) but i wasnt here, so Hopefully we wil this weekend
and yes I have to do a COMPLETE lifestyle change, eat better, NO SMOKING, no more BEER NITES, and NO stress (if at all possible)
