This guy obviously won't be satisfied unless he gets full-sized candy bars of premium chocolate in his bucket.

Oh and GIANT candy corn is the BEST!

What if we don't get trick or treaters? AT ALL? Do I have to go find them?

Re: 10 most disappointed treats to get on Halloween

    My list would be ...

Popcorn balls (they were almost always stale)
Coupons for a free something (come on?!)
    Hard candy
    Fruit
    Vegetables
    Gum
    Jaw breakers

    that's all, I can't think of anymore

Re: 10 most disappointed treats to get on Halloween

We always give out fun sized chocolate candy (Snickers, Twix, etc). I thought thats what we were supposed to give out???

In my nieghborhood we always do what is called "booing" each other. Basiclaly make a treat bag for a neighbor with a letter (like a chain really) and leave it ding dong ditch style on their porch. Our Boo bag we received...

    black plastic spider
    pencil
raisin sized box of Disney Tropical Mix Real dried fruit
    2 hershey kisses
Pooh and Tigger matching card game
    soccer ball sucker ring
and two packages of Grape Fruzel (which I assume is jelly).

apparantly the economy has hit harder than I thought.

    A little piece of heaven

Worst thing we've ever gotten trick or treating, a handful of rice. Uncooked rice, I swear.

For the past 9 years, I have given out full-sized candy bars. You come to my place and you are geting the full 500 calories!

The thing that cracks me up is that there are still kids that want to grab as many candy bars and they can hold. I also like the parents that come in with strollers of kids less than a year asking for candy. The kid has no teeth!

    God bless them all.

Religious tracts, not so bad if they included candy.

hand downs???? I've never heard of outgrown clothes being given out to trick or treaters.

As for rocks, well, all sorts of advertisements here in phoenix get handed out with a free mini bag of rocks. I think those advertisers should have holes cut in their bed sheets.

Re: 10 most disappointed treats to get on Halloween

My grandma had a lot of kids in her neighborhood, so she'd get a bag of 100 suckers and gave 1 to each kid. Either that or she'd break out a couple rolls of pennies and give to each kid. When she ran otu she'd shut the door and turn off the lights.

The last year I went trick or treating (when I was 12), one of my friends took us to some of the best houses in her neighborhood. One house gave out lunch box sized bags of Cheese Kurls. Another gave out full size Twix bars and another gave out boxes of those "Bang Snap" thingies. We started throwing them at the heels of kids that tried to annoy us.
