    Disney Pagans.....

    Just wanted to know if there are any other Disney lovers who are also pagans and who also incorporate any of it in their altar/shrines. I personally have my Mickey and Minnie statues to represent light and happiness on my home altar. I'm also going to get statues to represent the four elements (earth, air, fire, water) and I have one down....I have a Tink stature to represent Air and I was thinking of getting an Ariel statue for water. Any suggestions on what I should get to represent Earth and Fire?

    Fire - Hmm...
    Earth - Perhaps Pocahontas?

    And, by the way, I love your siggie parody of Sailor Moon!

    Blessed Be, fellow Disney geek!!!

    I have a Sorceror Mickey photo holder statue that I use on my working altar to hold cards for tarot magick, or even other spells/photos, etc. for whatever I'm working on at the time. I also have a little silver Tinkerbell bell for Air.

    I love the thought of doing an all Disney altar though. That would rock!

    Hades would definitely work for Fire.

    And Gopher would work for Earth, or even Grandmother Willow.

    Although, if you want to stick with main characters, then how about Donald for Fire (he's always heated)?

    On a side note, have you seen the Yule tree at Animal Kingdom? It's right at the front entrance and is decorated with a LOAD of grapevine pentagrams. Here's a photo:

    I'm not pagan, but my good friend is and she is also obsessed with Disney...

    She did the same thing you are doing with the following

    Earth = Simba
    Fire = Mushu
    Water = Nemo
    Air= Tinkerbell
    St. Elizabeth, Patron Saint of Themed parks. Protect us from break downs, long lines, and used gum. Amen.

    Re: Disney Pagans.....

    I like the idea of Mushu for Fire or maybe Elliot (can't think of any other good dragon characters)....as far as Earth goes I've got a list forming now that includes Bambi, Simba, Todd, Kenai (in bear form of course)...though both Pocahontas and Grandmother Willow are great ideas.

    Hades would work to, but I'm trying not to incorporate the villians into the four elements aspect of my altar. Though I do believe that without dark there can be no light...so I want to have a Chernabog statue and a Maleficent statue (not sure if I want dragon or human form) to represent the dark side of nature.

    Donald's a good choice, though I'd prolly put him for water....since he is a duck and he's emotional.

    Yes, a guy can be a Wich. No, he wouldn't be a Warlock.

    As a change of pace, how about Jack-Jack from the Incredibles for fire?

    BTW, I'm not pagan, but I think your idea is terrific. What a great way to celebrate your spirituality and love Disney at the same time!

    My roomie just came up with a brilliant idea...and that is to have a mini version or the Walt statue (if they make one) as the center to channel all those energies.

    Maybe we can branch off from the Church of Walt as the Coven of Walt???? We can share the C.o.W. acronym.

    And Kevy, just wait until we invite you and GusGus for breakfast sometime - the toaster sings IASW when it pops up, and I have the Mickey waffler and egg ring.

    DP, I love your place!

    Disney Pagan here though I don't use Disney imagery in my rituals. I don't really have any Disney merch to speak of- a sweatshirt or two and a couple shirts. I just don't buy that much. I don't have an actual altar, either. It's a fun idea though!

    Re: Disney Pagans.....

    I'm hoping there will be another Pagan Day at Disneyland like they did last year in the summer.

    There were about 30 Pagans in attendance, and we had a nice ritual near the back public corner Tom Sawyer Island. A few guests walked by, but no one ever disturbed us. It was really nice.
