Well, the dream need not be dead, at least as far as the "Forum" part is concerned.

While they do have church services there on Sunday (17,000 plus seats - must be some church) they still host concerts there on a regular basis.

And it is, as in days of yore, called simply "The Forum".
But it still has the (in my opinion) ugly blue and white paint. The original paint job was gorgeous.
