Yorba Linda fire has entered the city of Anaheim -11/15

Heads up, the freeways in around Anaheim are a mess, the 91 is closed down, and some folks had to evacuate the 241 freeway and leave their cars.

Maybe not the best day to go to Disneyland, and the Fireworks will not be offered.

Here are some photos from around 2:30 PM of the sky in Tustin, less than 10 miles south from Disneyland.

The 57 is also closed at Pathfinder, both North and South. I was supposed to meet some friends tonight down at DLR but it looks like I will be staying home.

Around 2 PM I could see the smoke had moved to the south over Long Beach. About an hour later the smoke was over us here in Lakewood. Very dark and creepy orange and ash coming down like snow. If it's that bad here then 7 miles to the East it's going to be bad at Disneyland!

It's all very sad seeing all those home destroyed.

It was frightening! Here in Costa Mesa, I looked away for 10 minutes and looked back to find a huge orange cloud covering the whole sky! Its so sad. I hate fire season. I'm supposed to go to DLR tomorrow. Do you suppose the 57 will be open again!?

I am about 2-6 miles from the brea/yoba linda fires. Very scary, but our neighborhood will be fine, as we have no brush, and it would need to get through the city first. I can see the flames on the hills from our house.

When I arrived to work this morning at 9:00 am, it was warm, but fine. By 9:45 am there was a faint hint of smoke in the air. At 10:00, you could see a wall of smoke coming in and the ash started falling. By 11:45, we (Photopass outside locations) were all pulled from our positions.

I feel so bad for all the people whose houses are being destroyed. It's very sad.
