Corona and Yorba Linda Fires

Not sure if this is the correct place to show you all. I decided seeing I can see the fires from my house to give you a look of the Corona and Yorba Linda fire.

There is nothing I can think of that is as horribly frightening, and at the same time majestic and spectacular in its own way, as a raging wildfire like that one.

Nice pics - thank you for sharing. Those flames look awfully close. Take care of yourself and your loved ones - you'll be in my prayers.

I was just on my roof again a few minutes ago. All we have now is smoke. It seems the fire is moving into Chino Hills in the North and down into Anaheim Hills in the South. It's going to be a looooong night for the fire fighters and residents of those areas.

Yeah I keep checking every hour but I am one of the lucky ones. I live in the area near the sc paintball park and we are about 20 miles away and wind is blowing away from us. I was in full zoom and extra long exposure to get the shoot. I am praying for those not so luck and hope everyone is taking the evacuations seriously. There are times when I can see fire tornadoes from my binoculars. I wish I had a tele zoom that way I can get shots of it.

A lot of friends have been evacuated. We're waiting for word on their homes.

Try working remote at Dumbo and having to walk back and forth in that stuff. My lungs felt like a brick!!!

Yeah I hear the air is horrible right now. I am going to take some pics later today and my close friend asked me to head out as close as I can with permission to get some closer shots for the newspaper and news but I a deciding if I want to deal with that horrible air.
