Hey, c'mon you two! ;-) Look at it this way:

a) Rats are actually really cute. Don't think of the New York R.O.U.S. sewer rats, with the crazy eyes. Think of, like, normal rats you can pick up at the pet store. Cute.

b) You know where we got the 'character' names, right? Kuzcochik does -- they're based off of our chinese zodiac signs. So, Wyatt was born in the Year of the Rat... so... Rat. :-)

Not that I really wanted to bring this thread back from the dead (but then again, lookie how cute our little Rat is), but I did want to let folks here know that we have video one of a two part series "The Story of Rat" online.

Needless to say, he doesn't make an appearance about 2/3rds of the way through the second part. But, I wanted folks to know about it -- and I don't figure I'll add this to the MicePod listing (since this ends on a downer -- but you all know the story here so you KNOW it has a happy ending).

Disneyphenom, I PM'd you my thoughts earlier but I'll say it again here. I think you and Horse Bunny have become wonderful story tellers, in addition to creating entertaining podcasts. This is really terrific work! I really enjoyed watching it.

It took a while, but I hope everyone will understand why. Okay, okay, for those who don't -- taking care of a little baby is hard work. Doing voiceovers for a video podcast when your little one is fussing is also hard work. And cutting together 5 months of video -- not to mention about 8 hours of hospital footage from multiple cameras -- is ALSO hard work.

But, here we've done it. We've finished the podcast, and the story of our son's arrival. And it's ready for everyone to view! Come, and see the first moments of little "Rat" Wyatt's life.

*If you have kids in tow, please watch the video before letting them join in. Yes, there is a lot of fun and humor (including a slapstick portion that comes somewhere between Benny Hill and Austin Powers) -- but there's also a baby being born.
