No, though the castle was depicted on the top of the Anaheim float. And the theme was Hats off to Entertainment. Still quite within Disney's theme.

Personally, I am still very annoyed at Disney for their entry 2-3 years ago, when the theme was Music, Music, Music.....with the rich history of Disney music they could have had a spectacular float, instead they plugged the opening of ToT at DCA.

And if you saw Anaheim's float on today's coverage on KTLA, you would have heard Stephanie Edwards call the castle the Magic Castle.

The City of Torrance had Alice in Wonderland as their float today.

Looked OK, but the Cheshire Cat's smile was a little too small.

At least there was some Disney in the parade...

You do know Alice in Wonderland existed before Disney made a movie out of it. This was just a different portrayal of it. Because its a book there is no one true look to it.

Last time I ever saw a float for Disneyland in the Rose parade was back in 2005 when it was Disneyland's 50th same thing with the Hollywood Christmas parade. There hasn't been a Disney float sends 2005. And it bugs me that Disney don't do them any more. It seems like Disneyland get ripe off anymore you hear more of WDW then Disneyland and Disneyland started it all.

I remember when Mickey was the Grand Marshall and had the whole 50th castle and a huge opening.

Actually, Disney had floats in 2004 (Tower of Terror), 2005 (50th Castle), and 2006 (All Castles with princesses). The 2006 one was huge, probably one of the biggest floats the Rose Parade has seen.

Maybe they'll do one for the 55th. Sure would like to see them doing the musical openings (that are staged for the viewing audience at home and not for parade goers). Their openings were great. This mornings opening was just lame.

Also, could that Anaheim float have gone by any faster? Sheesh.

Disney was encouraging it's Cast Members to volunteer to help on the Anaheim Float.

I think another float was the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. Still Disney, but it's not with us any more.

I actually volunteered for the 2005, 2006 one. I'm not a CM but it was really cool, for the 2005 one I actually got a free ticket to Disneyland just for helping out.
