 | Funeral services set for celebration of Tom Chaney's life A celebration of Tom Chaney's life will be held at Forest Lawn-Glendale on Saturday, January 10th, 2009 at 1:30 pm. The service will be held at the "Wee Kirk o' the Heather Chapel" to be followed by interment at the "Court of Freedom". There will also be a reception after the funeral for those choosing to attend. A Map of Forest Lawn-Glendale can be found here. A map of the grounds at Forest Lawn can be found here. We're running a poll for the family to get an idea of how many MiceChatter's plan on attending the funeral only, or both the funeral and the reception afterwards. Anyone interested in making a donation in Tom's name can do so the Make-A-Wish foundation. If you knew Tom Chaney and you can attend his funeral, please do so. Your attendance would be greatly appreciated by those who knew and loved him.

I regret that the only way i got to know him was off an on through interaction here on micechat. I think if I had gone to the micechat meets at Disneyland maybe I could have got to know him in person. however, I had been praying for healing, and I was reminded by a friend of mine at church that healing comes in many forms. God healed him. he took him home.
