Re: K-Cup / Pod Coffee Makers

I wonder if Cole Sear drank a lot of coffee:

Bloomberg.com: Science

So if you go around and think you see dead people, you may want to switch to decaf

Nah... I'm limited to 2 cups a day.

Re: K-Cup / Pod Coffee Makers

You know I've read report after report about coffee and especially in the last two days I've read a few. I know how bad it is for me (but it prevents Alzheimers!), I'll still drink it until I'm on a thickened nectar diet. Coffee to me represents my nana and every sip I have I think of her. You could tell me it will kill me and I'll still drink it.

Re: K-Cup / Pod Coffee Makers

I just bought a keurig. The tea was really good, but the hot coco not so much. It was very watery. I'm not sure how one pod can make three different sizes. Are they all suppose to be the same strength?

Anyway, I haven't tried the coffee yet/ I would not be able to sleep tonight if I did.

Let me know what you think, Sb, since the Keurig is what I was thinking of getting.

No, its not the same strength from one pod. Mine has 4 different sizes, and the smaller you go, the stronger it is. If you want a big cup of stronger coffee, you'll need to use two pods. However, it makes great coffee either way.

The coffee was really good. I will stay away from the hot chocolate.

I made a large cup of strong bold coffee and it was still very strong. The gloria jeans hazelnut seemed a bit weak on the medium brew, but I think I'm used to very strong coffee.

My BF said, "that sure is a lot of money for a water heater"....

Ok, I will keep that in mind. Mine came with so much coffee. It will last a while. It had 18 with the maker and a 72 bonus pack, plus a filter I can use to put my own coffee in. I love costco.

Re: K-Cup / Pod Coffee Makers

We get the Double Diamond dark roast bold. Which makes great any sized coffee. The hot cocoa (which I just had today! I never drink cocoa either so...) you use the smallest setting. I think it's like the 5.5 ounce one. It's good that way. I'm drinking Celestial Seasoning's Mandarian spice tea right now. It's yummy...

We used the largest setting for the cocoa, now I know why it was so watery. I'm drinking that tea right now too.
