sandwiches

is there anything you like on a sandwich that other would think weird or strange???

Yesterday I had tomato, cucumber, canned beets and canned pineapple. Today I had canned beets, canned pineapple and cheese.
It's not unusual for people here to have fries on a sandwich, with buttered bread and ketchup. Also chips between two slices of buttered bread

so what do you like???

Re: sandwiches

Toasted rye bread, chunky peanut butter, bread and butter pickles topped with vegetarian bacon bits. It's the most amazing sandwich, it sounds gross but so yummy.

I know what Cooper's favorite sandwich is? Hee hee. How could I forget?

I love cow's tongue sandwiches with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and pickles. Yum. Is that weird enough for you?

Re: sandwiches

A guy that went to my parent's church loved peanut butter and pickle sandwiches. I didn't believe him until he brought one to a church dinner and ate it in front of me. I always thought that was weird.

Re: sandwiches

My grandma used to make me 'bread butter and sugar' sandwiches when I was little.. A slice of bread, butter spread on it, sugar sprinkled over it and then folded in half. My grandma used to eat them when she was little in the Philippines, she also ate banana sandwiches, but I didn't like those, heehee.
