My Father Passed away today

We are all very upset.. but we have come to realize he is in a better place. He was Diagnosed with esophageal cancer on Oct. 16th 2008 and lived his last bit of life till today Jan. 27th at 11 am... We all know he is in a better place now and not suffering from this cancer that took life from him. We will all see him in Heaven in years to come. Wish you all the best. God Bless.

I too offer my condolences and prayer.

Its not easy to lose a family member. we recently lost our grandma to dimentia. we are relieved actually because she is in paradise.

Absolutely, Disneyguy ..you will see your father again in Heaven. Thanks to both God and modern medical science, your dad and your family were given advance alert as to his condition, and over three months to share your loving relationship and to say your goodbyes - until you make the journey. In terms of eternity with God and Jesus, goodbyes are another way of saying yes, God's love will see us past all obstacles, including death.

Losing a parent is one of the loneliest things that can happen to a loving son or daughter. The lives we share are never long enough. Feelings of guilt over this and that are a natural reaction with many. Just know, that I can tell by the way you talk that you share a deep and abiding relationship with your dad. His spirit must be shining out on you with pride. By the grace of God, your family will never truely be separated. Sometimes, what is not visible to many makes a family indivisible forever.

You have many friends here at MiceChat, and I would consider myself fortunate to be one of them. I'll keep your entire family in my prayers and thoughts.
