New Rocket Rods/Light Cycle style cars

Hello Micechat,
This weekend I discovered something that I wanted to bring to the attention of the Disney Community. If any of you miss Rocket Rods, liked the intended concept or ever wanted to have your own Light Cycle here it is...

I'm very excited about this new form of transportation as it seems like the stuff of Tomorrowland is finally making the transition from fantasy to reality. By the way, I love how they could never get Rocket Rods to have banked turns and then these guys just take and bank the car itself.

Would the Hammer fit in it though?

Back on topic...when I first saw that I thought "Cool! Want!" But I raise guide pups and my guide dog goes with me everywhere. That car isn't practical for it. Heck my car now barely works (big dog, small car...). But if I didn't have a guide pup... ohhh.

Re: New Rocket Rods/Light Cycle style cars

I remember seeing this a couple years back, concept stage I think. Glad to see that they made a fully working one. But right now when it think about small cars I can't help but remember the smart I saw earlier this week with a spinning wind up key on the back, made it look like a wind up car and made LOL on the freeway.

edit: Found a photo to what I saw, this one is a different color tho. Click Here to see it.
Oh and sorry for going off topic.

Re: New Rocket Rods/Light Cycle style cars

^ now THAT sounds freaking cute.

I read those smart cars don't get as good of mileage on the road as I thought. They only get like 32-35MPG. That's what my current car gets now.
