I recently found a Threadless gift certificate lying around in my stuff, so I decided to finally spend it! I look through the WHOLE current catalog... and while I found some really cute stuff, and saw some of my old favorites, I really liked their newer shirts. Lots of their older stuff or stuff that's mostly sold out (but still has a few shirts left in some sizes) gets as cheap as $9! Then I'd be able to buy two. But I only saw a few that I would really want to wear right now. Lots of the newer ones have oversize printing, which is really cool. So these are thew two I've narrowed it down to:
"Abe" - Parody, Political, Violence T-shirt by Joe Carr
"Secrets of the City" - Monsters, Urban, Silhouttes T-shirt by David Creighton-Pester
It's kind of a sophie's choice, right? I mean, the Abe Lincoln one is so badass and is clearly very timely thanks to Licoln's current popularity... With Obama loving him, Walt loving him and the parks bringing him back to the Opera house, and all these books coming out about him...
The city one with the UV monster effect is just so COOL though. Which would you pick???
