I guess pulling over to the side of the road slipped her mind. Silly me for assuming people use their brains.

Sadly it reminds me of a friend's occurance last year:

She stopped at a grocery store with her daughter, and as they were getting out of their car, her daughter heard a baby cry. Yep...you guessed it. Someone left a baby in the car next to them. No adult in sight. My friend called the police, and when they got there, they broke open the car and were getting the baby out just in time for the woman to coming running out of the store with a buggy full of groceries. Of course, the police questioned her....and she said...(get this)...

"I can't get any shopping done with her with me."

Nice. Did I mention this baby appeared to be only a few months old? My friend said they arrested the woman....but, she later found out that her husband was a attorney. Nice, again.

Some people have NO sense. Still makes me wonder...you have to have a license to own a dog....but, any idiot can have a baby.

Come on people, common sense.

It always amazed me what we tell ourselves to validate anything, no matter how ridiculous the situation is.

Attorney or no attorney, she is not going to want to put that in front of jury. It is a shame that people are so into themselves and not their little kiddos.

Re: Breast-feeding, cell-using driver charged..

This is the kind of people that I am afraid that I might in encounter when I am driving on the road, the ones who do stupid things to endanger people's lives. Not only does she not care for the life of her child or others, she's complety oblivious to what serious consquences they might be after. Thankfully the child had a guardian angel who called the police on their mother and saved their life.
