Space Shuttle Launch tonight! 9:20 PM EDT

Nasa is finally sending Discovery up to the Space Station this evening, 9:20 EDT. Here's the countdown clock:
    NASA - Space Shuttle

This might be the last night-time launch for the shuttle. Only seven more launches to the space station, plus one launch to Hubble. I guess one of those future launches to the station will be to install the "Colbert" room.

And I'll be watching online from the moment coverage starts

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

Just read on CTV News that the launch is postponed again due to a gaseous leak while they were filling up the fuel tank today:

According to the article, the launch may happen tomorrow night.

Funny they're doing a night launch since the one last fall they hyped so much about that one being the last ever night launch.

I just checked the Nasa website. Looks like they won't try launching until Sunday.

And the Shuttle landed safely at Kennedy Space Center thus bringing STS 119 to a close.

Not too many shuttle flights left. I guess the next one is the Hubble servicing mission STS 125 with Atlantis, scheduled for May 12.
