Parade Floats

So I have been looking around for probly about a year now, and there is NO info on Self Propelled parade floats. I work for a small amusement park and for a while now have been wanting some form of entertainment, and after seeing Celebrate! A Street Party I got a few ideas, But have no idea of building, drive system, audio syncing, computer syncing, power systems... ect. So I was wondering if anyone had ANY info to share at all! Please! Like i said, I have been searching for info for probly like 2 years now and we really want to Produce a small "Street show" ( trying not to copy Disney at all) ... so please! Thanks!

Re: Parade Floats

The Electric Parade uses RFID pucks to track the locations of each parade float so that the audio system knows which "audio zone" the float is in and when to cue the audio for that float. Tracks are separated out and play independently and can be faded in and out over others.

Self steering would be done via rfid as well I would think. MSEP actually has people in them driving the floats (or at least used to).

Do you know if this is how the new street party is guided?

Re: Parade Floats

I was wondering the same thing, cuz if you look at the bigger floats, there's no drivers view... Unless it well hidden.

Re: Parade Floats

Celebrate's floats do have drivers. You can see them thru a mesh box like thing on the right side of the floats
