Easter plans?

It's good Friday here. It's been a cold, wet and windy day, so I actually got to sleep in until 9.30 (this was afer being awake from 6 til 7 thanks to my son). One kid is playing the WII, the other watching and snacking on cheese and crackers. My husband got home from work at 7am so he's sleeping
I'll be making some tuna patties for the kids and a pasta seafood bake for the adults. It's almost midday and I'm still in my jammies. Have no plans to get dressed LOL LOL.
No plans for saturday. Sunday we will get chocolate and have a roast pork.
I see l;ots of relaxing, movies and games this Easter!! We aren't having any company, which suits me FINE! LOL

Visiting relatives, enduring the question, "when are you ever getting married?" and "what are you doing with your life?" over and over and over again....

Re: Easter plans?

Well Good Friday is my birthday! So I have a lot of plans this weekend lol After work, Jeff and I are going to Friendly's for lunch, then we're going to go to Melting Pot for dinner. Saturday I'm going to the Vanderbuilt Museum with a few friends, then Jeff and I are going over to his best friends house for a night of board games and Mexican food and drinking.

Easter itself.... well, after going arounf it was decidedeach family is doing their own thing - so Jeff and I are having our little Easter lunch. Then the entire family is going to his grandparents for dessert.

It's going to be a busy but fun weekend!!

Re: Easter plans?

We always celebrate Easter Mass somewhere special. If we travel, we take into account that we want Easter Mass to be memorable. If we stay home, we go somewhere great, like a major cathedral or a mission. This year, we have a new baby, so a big trip will have to wait a few months. Instead, we're taking a short cruise out of San Diego, so Mass will be at the Mission San Diego, which is California's first and oldest mission. Then, off to the Carnival Elation for a few days.

Re: Easter plans?

Sadly I have no plans. Been helping my mom take care of my grandma with dementia and the house will probably be all yelling and craziness. I'll probably go to church alone in the morning.

My godson (11 year old second cousin) is being baptized Saturday. After that we are having a pizza party at grandma's house.

Re: Easter plans?

Well, we usually enjoy the Buffet at the DLH and then head over to the Park, but sadly, Disney chose to cancel the Easter Buffet this year.

So now we have to spend the day with family!!!

Re: Easter plans?

Saturday we'll dye eggs & watch It's the Easter Beagle. Sunday the boys will get their baskets in the morning and we'll go to brunch. Very lowkey for us thisyear.
