 | How Long do you spend at a restaurant? This does sound like a really dumb question, but it is funny that when I go out to eat at a sit-down place I generally don't pay attention to the time. At an average service sit down restaurant, how long does it generally take you to get seated, get waited on, get your food, eat your meal, get your check and pay for it? I'm guessing for most people its like an hour and a half to 2 hours. I don't know though. |

If I'm just with my roomie or a few friends we can spend anywhere between 1 hour to 1.5 hours. If I'm with family, it usually takes a little longer - maybe a little over 2 hours - especially if it's a large group.

| Re: How Long do you spend at a restaurant? We never wait for a table....so once we are seating it runs about an hour, but that is entirely due to the serving speed of the restaurant. I hate eating in restaurants (or at least "family dining ones"), so the quicker the better.

That will, of course, soon become 53 minutes (one day at a time, with the Grace of God), because - let's face it, with each passing year I eat a little more slowly.  OK, not nearly as clever as Lisa's answer. But I'll never be prettier than her, and my dream of playing center for the Lakers has also gone pretty much by the wayside, so I'll just have to deal with it.
