Why do I have a feeling this will either go into the Debate Lounge or litter box?

I like Del Taco's soft chicken tacos. Or their mole ones... I'm also a fan of Jack in a Box's tacos, which give me killer heart burn, but they're so worth it!

Taco Bell and Del taco are pretty much tied, in my book.

When it comes to full scale dining, I like Chilis bar and grill.

My family also has a long tradition of making delicious homemade tacos.

Fast food wise Del Taco stomps all over Taco Smell, they have the better cheese & their meat tastes like actually meat not fauxmeat like at Taco Smell. JITB tacos are great for a hangover.

I like Rubio's(my "other" choice)for their fish tacos and their grilled poblano and portabello tacos.

I prefer my own homemade tacos over most restaurants though. I can't think of any restaurant chain that has tacos I"m a huge fan of. And I don't think I've eaten eaten tacos at Chilis, I think of Chilis more for burgers or appetizers.

The one exception would be El Adobe here in Bakersfield or La Casita in Fremont. La Casita is my all time favorite restaurant. I much prefer locally owned non-chain restaurants for mexican food.

Baja Fresh is goodness.
El Pollo Loco isn't half bad either.

I grew up with a Taco Johns close to my home, so that's defined my "taco experience" for years. Finally, when I was in college a Taco Bell came to my town. Both of those are good. And I expecially like the fresco option at taco bell, too! That is my favorite. jack in the box is ok for a greasy taco, but I really prefer the lettuce, tomato and cilantro on the Taco Bell taco. As for Del Taco, it's barely tolerable. tiny tacos, and the meat is just not seasoned very well at all.

Miguel's/Miguel's Jr. (in the Inland Empire). But Del Taco for your basic fast food taco.

Ack! You had to mention Miguel Jr. Seriously that stuff is the best! I could live off their hot sauce and rice... I'm tempted to email the owners with my dilemma (I live in Washington, but I grew up in the IE living off their hot sauce.) to try to get the recipe.

We don't have any of those restaurants here in Florida except for Taco Bell & Chili's.

I like the tacos from Moe's & Chipotle.
