About 15 minutes to go to launch, however, looks like it will be scrubbed again due to weather.

And the launch was scrubbed today due to bad weather. They are going to try again tomorrow at 6:51 PM EDT.

An hour and 15 minutes until the fourth try. Hopefully they'll light the candle this time.

Oh, I hope it makes it. Too bad about the other days though, my friend had finally made her first trip to WDW and was looking forward to seeing the shuttle lift off too.

Well, it's been scrubbed again due to the weather. On Nasa TV they said they are going to make a decision whether they'll try again tomorrow, or leave it until Wednesday, if the weather will improve.

    Darn those thunder/lightening clouds.

Those storms are supposed to come around every day around that time the rest of the week (and pretty much the rest of the summer). They should do a morning launch while the weather is nice.

I watch all the shuttle launches. I have friends there who are trying to catch the launch but it keeps getting delayed. Hopefully it will be able to go up on the next attempt.

If they don't launch tomorrow or Wednesday, the launch may be delayed until July 27, because there is supposed to be an unmanned Russian supply ship making a rendezvous with the ISS.

Re: STS-127 - Kibo Lab Completion

I was away in Calgary since Wednesday, but I see that they finally launched on Wednesday and made the rendezvouz with the ISS today.

An interesting day. The most people in space ever (13), yesterday the 40th anniversary of Apollo 11, and today, the man who covered the Apollo missions, Walter Kronkite, left us, RIP.
