    Question Liver and Onions!

I REALLY enjoy liver and onions, but I know not many do. I haven't had this in so long that I was wondering if there are still any places that serve this dish. If so ... does anyone know any good spots to go get some liver and onions?

Blame it on the cheezeburgers thread ... it got me thinking about food. Plus I don't usually see liver on sale at the grocery store so I've got to find where else to get my liver!

    eeeeeyyyeeeewwwww!

Liz, aren't you in Simi? There's a sort of a diner/restaurant called the "First Street Family Restaurant". I'm pretty sure I've seen L&O on the menu. It isn't a fine dining establishment, it's what in the east would be called a diner.

Not that I've ordered it. :-)

Nooooooooooo. There's no way to contain the odor!
I will cook it for other people and then I have to go around the house making sure candles are lit and room scenting things are all activated. Even then I can smell it for days.
Yeah, I really hate the smell.

I love liver and onions! When I was a kid I would order it when we went out. The waitress would always ask three or four times if that's what I really wanted. Guess they never saw a 7 year old eat liver and onions. That's such a comfort food for me. Always reminds me of home.

    Re: Liver and Onions!

British Pubs often server liver & onions... might be worth doing a search for any pubs near you.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

Don't most Norms serve liver and onions?

There is also a place in Fountain Valley called Magnolia Cafe that serves them.

for some reason liver and onions reminds of doug episode where he hated to eat it just for patti.

Besides, I have never had those before. what does it taste like?

TexAZ Grill has them on Wednesday nights, teeny tiny problem is that you have to come to Phoenix but I guarantee they are probably worth it since all of there other food rocks.

    I LOVE Liver & Onions!

Mimi's Cafe has them on their dinner menu and they sound worth trying.
Check out item #3 on the menu below.

Note: There's a Mimi's on Harbor Blvd. just across the street from DL.
