    "twisted princesses" artwork

This artist has done new and 'twisted' comic-book style art using Disney princesses as the subject. It's clever and very well-drawn but might be a bit intense or disturbing for the very young. I was just fascinated.

    Jeffrey Thomas's Portfolio: Twisted Princess

I'm wondering how long it will be before he gets a 'cease and desist' from Disney.

I'm still buzzing around his site...he's fantastic. A piece titled "for the fallen" has Mickey and the names of the nine old men (plus one) it's different, but still arresting:

    Cool Re: "twisted princesses" artwork

Wow. I think Cinderella takes the prize for creepiest. My fave would have to be Snow White and how she's got all the dwarves on leashes like some ferocious pets. It definitely stirs up some unsavory thoughts. But I like almost anything artistic and creepy! This guy is stellar!

Reminds me of this line of costumes:

    Sinderella

    Snow Fright

    Hells Belle

    Tinkerspell

    Malice in Wonderland

Sleeping Beauty just makes me uncomfortable. Her eyes are sewn shut and the owl's talons are drawing blood.

But still...this guy's work really impressed me.
