The New Pacific Northwest Micechatter thread.

Hi everybody! Well I just noticed that the old Washington Micechatter thread has been locked and decided it was time to start a new one.

There are quite a few of us up here in Washington and other nearby states. This thread is not only to help keep track of us, but also to talk about local get togethers. We have had several the last few years. We have gone to the Experience Music Project, seen many films, visited the Disney Warehouse store, met Marty Sklar, met up for a meal or 2, and even attended the inaugural Pacific Northwest Mouse Meet.

I plan on having meet ups for things like the Frog and the Princess and such. But first let's see who we got.

This is a list of all of the known Micechatters in thre reason. Post here if we missed you. If you would like to be removed from the list, send me a PM.

Well I suppose I should get something started for "A Christmas Carol". Who is interested and when do you want to go? It starts in just over a week on November 6th. Should we plan on the theater in Southcenter again?

I'd be more interested in seeing "Princess and the Frog." But I can look at my schedule later on today and figure out when I'm free.

We will be doing that one too, it is just farther off. I kind wish they would reverse the release dates on the 2 films. DOesn't it seem like CC should be a December release and Princess and the Frog in November? oh well.

I'm up for A Christmas Carol. The other doesn't really tickle my fancy! I'm free every weekend in November for a change. No Saturday work days. (Except tomorrow, Oct 31.)

Several MountainEars are getting together this Friday Nov 6th to see the 7:45 IMAX 3D showing of Disney's A Christmas Carol at Southcenter Mall. Would be great to see you guys there! We plan on eating at the Mall before hand.

Cool. Thanks for the invite.

Does that theater actually have IMAX, or do they have the fake IMAX that I keep hearing about on Aint it Cool News and Roger Ebert's blog?

Re: The New Pacific Northwest Micechatter thread.

I'm not available this weekend as we have a school event on Saturday and set up is on Friday afternoon and that's too far to drive on a Friday evening. As for Christmas Carol in general - I am totally bummed that the movie release dates weren't switched. I'm just not ready for holiday stuff like that yet, but would LOVE to see Princess and the Frog in its entirety already!! Keep me posted on the plans...

It is not the same as the one in the Pacific Science Center to be sure, but still nice. Tickets are $15 for Imax.

Re: The New Pacific Northwest Micechatter thread.

So far it is sounding like the Micechatters cannot make Friday for the most part. What about next weekend?

Re: The New Pacific Northwest Micechatter thread.

My weekend off is this weekend and then the weekend my brother and sister in law come up (which is also the weekend New Moon comes out, so that means I'm going to be geeking it out with them). I don't know where South Center is but if it's far for everyone else.... I'm so much more into seeing "Princess and the Frog" because there's some actual history there (and the way "Christmas Carol" is done freaks me out).

What's the fake IMax? I'm curious.

Re: The New Pacific Northwest Micechatter thread.

Southcenter is near Sea Tac.

You can fly from Anacortes in your medical helicopter.

$10,000 later. I could never be a helicopter RN. I'm afraid of heights (which is funny because I'm tall).
