Up - literally!

Watch out for the flying dogs kid!

CTV News | Boy floats away in homemade balloon aircraft

I wonder if the kid brought along his Adventure book?

Re: Up - literally!

Reports are mixed, some say the kid jumped out before the balloon flew away. Have we confirmed one way or the other? It's all Disney's fault for making that "UP" movie, you know....

If he makes it to South America, I just hope he realizes Kevin's a girl.

Re: Up - literally!

Last reports I heard were that the balloon was recovered, no kid in it. No kid at home either. The boy's older brother said he got in it before it took off. Let's pray he's found alive.

Re: Up - literally!

Little stinker. Great story to tell when he shows "UP" to his own kids someday. "When I was six, I had the whole country tuned in to CNN looking for me".

Trust me. It's like when my parents had the whole campground looking for me, afraid I'd been kidnapped, when in fact I was just on a very long walk with my dog in the woods. It was Big Sur, we were far from home and I didn't want to let go of the leash.

Re: Up - literally!

What kind of people make a machine like that and leave it where a 6 year old can get his hands on it anyway?

So stupid! The kid could have been killed.

Exactly. These people were crazy with a capital C on the episode of "Wife Swap" they were on:

Something tells me this is nothing more then a publicity stunt.

Re: Up - literally!

Watch starting at about 25 seconds through 40 seconds in the video. The kid says they were doing it "for the show".

I think Mom and Dad just got busted.

They're attention seekers, just like Octomom. I wonder when they'll release a book and sell the rights to a really bad made-for-TV movie.

Re: Up - literally!

Dad doesn't even interrupt his story to say "Son, are you OK? Need a cup of water?" He lets the kid puke on live television. Child abuse!
